Welcome to the House of David School of Biblical Studies website,
a site that desires to study the Scriptures from the standpoint that Christ was a Jew and his original disciples/apostles were Jews, and therefore, it follows that understanding the Jewish culture of the first century including the customs, traditions, teachings, and beliefs of the Jews can facilitate our understanding of the Gospel!

The "Grafted In" Presentation from the Feast of Tabernacles 2010 at Windermere is now available

Check out our new Hebrew Roots local congregation in Richmond Virginia.

Note: On-Line Store Now Operational for acquiring the LibraryCD and Presentations!

This is Bible Study taking into consideration a Hebraic Perspective

We r
epresent a group of people who are on a quest for truth. We accomplish this by acquiring evidence concerning a particular subject from all sides. During the Bible study, we also consider the Hebrew roots of the matter. Then we draw a conclusion from the "Weight of that Evidence".

To the best of our ability, we
limit the impact of our presuppositions
Once we acquire the truth, we desire to walk in it as best we can
We create "Presentations" which contain our evidence and conclusions
We desire others to critique our evidence and conclusions
This helps us draw closer to the truth

How do we do this :
For those who feel a need, we help them "learn how to study" better. Eventually, we desire other 'studiers'  to critique our evidence and conclusions and bring correction to us. For those whose Bible Study leads them into their Hebrew roots, this is most important. This way,  the body of believers work together to attain the truth.

Please meander through our web site and see if what we do falls within your vision.
Remember the exhortation of Paul in 1Thessalonians 5:21

"Test everything: Grasp a hold of that which is true!"
